Indeed, with so many of us going out and buying corner sofas, retailers are competing to offer the very best deals on these styles, driving down the prices of corner sofas even further than you might otherwise expect, especially during sale periods in January and August. Modular sofas are not as well established as corner units but have become extraordinarily popular in recent years as many more of us have sought to tap into a contemporary style in our home living spaces. There big unique selling point is the ability to frequently rearrange the style and composition of the piece, effectively allowing them to be a corner unit, U shaped configuration or linear sofa at any one time.
This piece of furniture not only makes a statement but it is also very functional. It is a multifunctional piece. It is appropriate for parties where you will need additional seating and at the same time it is also appropriate for sleepovers where you will need additional beds. It is a good way to incorporate extra beds into the home. The beauty of it is that when it is not in use as a bed, it does not look like a bed so only those who have slept on it or who own one will know there is a potential bed in your living room. So no more bunk beds, pull out couches and fold up beds. Guests will feel special knowing they can expect the best care from you. They will not even slightly wish they had stayed or returned home.
Camelback Sofa - The camelback sofa style is attributed to London cabinetmaker and furniture designer Thomas Chippendale, whose name strongly influenced the English decor scene in the late 18th century. A true camelback sofa has an arched back that rises to a higher point in the middle, and again slightly at the ends. Other features include rolled or square arms, upholstery, exposed legs and usually no back cushions. We love how the designers integrated a camelback-inspired sofa in the photo above, giving it an informal, inviting appearance.
